HUSKIES BADMINTON COMPETE IN CENTENNIAL INVITATIONAL

On January 13th and 14th, 13 Huskies badminton athletes travelled to Scarborough, Ontario to compete in the Centennial Colts Annual Badminton Invitational. This was the first tournament for the team since returning from the Winter break.
 

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies competed in the five major disciplines; men/women singles, men/women doubles and mixed doubles. 
 
Sarthak Arora (2nd Year) and Monique Lee (1st Year) were the mixed "A" finalists, Monique Lee and Giselle Kochapanya (1st Year) were the doubles "A" finalists and Kunal Chhabra (1st Year) and Gopu Gopakumar (1st Year) were the men’s doubles "C" winners!

UP NEXT:
 The Huskies will now turn their attention to preparing for the East Regional final on February 3rd and 4th hosted by College Boreal in Toronto. Winners will advance to the OCAA Championships hosted by Seneca College from February 16th to 18th.
