The George Brown badminton team will be sending seven athletes to compete in four of the five disciplines at East Regionals this weekend hosted by College Boreal in Sudbury, Ontario.  
 
Representing the Huskies in the men’s single discipline will be Jestive Taipan (1st Year) and Matthew Susnik (1st Year) while Dung Hoang (Erik) Nguyen (2nd Year) & Roozbeh Khakpour (1st Year)  will compete in men’s doubles. Thanawadee (Giselle) Kochapanya (1st Year) will compete in women’s singles and Lok Yin (Monique) Lee (1st Year) & Sarthak Arora (2nd Year) will compete in mixed doubles. 
 
All athletes will be competing for a chance to participate in the OCAA Championships from February 16-18 hosted by Seneca College followed by the CCAA Championships from March 1-4 in Halifax, Nova Scotia hosted by Dalhousie University.
