Mixed doubles pair Sarthak Arora and Monique Lee have qualified for the 2023 CCAA National Championships after an undefeated 7-0 showing at the OCAA Provincial Championships February 17-18, 2023 in Aurora, ON.

The pair entered the tournament as heavy favorites in the mixed doubles discipline, and did not disappoint. They outscored their opponents by an average of 21-10 per set on their way to the gold medal. Aurora and Lee also went undefeated at the regional championship qualifier the week before.

In his second season with the program, Arora has really developed into a top CCAA contender. The OCAA East Division all-star made his mark both in singles and doubles play, including going 10-0 over two A-flight disciplines at the season-opening Fanshawe invitational while also claiming the top podium spot in the men's doubles B-flight.

Partner Monique Lee has seen an equal amount of success in her rookie season. The Computer Systems Technician student was a standout in both mixed doubles and women's double play this year, also earning her way to an OCAA East Division all-star nod. She claimed two second place A-flight finishes at the Fanshawe Invitational, and finished in first and second place at the Centennial Invitational a few months later.

The Huskies pair will face the following conference champions and silver medalists over the upcoming three-day CCAA National Championship tournament in Truro, NS from March 9-11, 2023.
