Monique Lee & Giselle Kochapanya capped off their impressive season by earning a silver medal in Women's Doubles at the CCAA National Badminton Championships at Seneca College.

The final on the national stage was a back-and-forth affair against Abby Ledda and Cecilia Wolski of the King's University Eagles. The Huskies fell short, dropping 2-0 (17-21, 21-23) decision. The medal marked the best result in the discipline throughout the program’s history.

The team that won the gold medal at the OCAA Provincial Championship went 3-2 in round-robin play to earn a spot in the semi-finals. The pair won a tight match against Seneca's Hedieh Abbasbeiglou and Tanya Sharma, 2-0 (22-20, 21-17) in the semi-finals to book their ticket to the final.

This marks the sixth straight season that the badminton program has brought home a national medal.
