The George Brown Huskies women's basketball fell 76-54 to the Durham Lords on Friday night at home.

NOTABLE STATS: The Huskies (2-3, 5th East) ended the first quarter down 20-9. The Lords (2-3, 4th East) held the lead throughout the second quarter ending the half up 43-20. Throughout the third and fourth quarters, Durham maintained their advantage to beat George Brown 76-54.

Second-year guard Mariam Konate posted a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds on the night. Both stats were team-highs as well. First-year guard Thorin Pangan tallied 11 points and four rebounds in the loss.

UP NEXT: The Huskies continue their homestand Saturday afternoon when they battle the Algonquin Wolves (4-1, 2nd East). Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
