HUSKIES ROLL THROUGH FLEMING

The men's soccer team rolled past the Fleming Phoenix with a dominant 9-1 win on Sunday (Sept. 29) afternoon on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Huskies wasted no time, as Gianfranco Gileppo extended his goal streak to three games by scoring in the opening minute. He doubled the lead just nine minutes later, giving George Brown a quick 2-0 advantage. Fleming cut the deficit in half in the 33rd minute, but Eisrom Ghebretensae restored the two-goal cushion just two minutes later, starting a streak of seven unanswered goals.

Gileppo recorded his first career hat-trick, while Mark Do Coito added two goals. Shervin Divyapalan and Hakeem Bailey also scored their first career OCAA goals in the victory.

UP NEXT: George Brown (1-2-3) and Fleming (0-7) will meet again on Friday (Oct. 4) at Esther Shiner Stadium. Game time is 6pm.
