HUSKIES DRAW CAMBRIAN

The men's soccer team picked up their second straight draw with a 3-3 score against the Cambrian Golden Shield on the road Friday (Sept. 13) night.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Eisrom Ghebretensae opened the scoring for the Huskies in the 7th minute with his first goal of the season. Cambrian responded quickly, scoring in the 15th minute and again just before halftime to take a 2-1 lead.

George Brown dominated possession in the second half, earning two penalty kicks, both converted by Mark Do Coito, in the 54th and 73rd minutes. Despite taking the lead, the Huskies conceded the equalizer in the 83rd minute. George Brown couldn't hold on to the lead and gave up the equalizer in the 83rd minute.

UP NEXT: The Huskies (0-1-2) host the Durham Lords (2-1-1) on Saturday (Sept. 21) afternoon at Esther Shiner Stadium. The match begins at 3pm.
