Men's Soccer midfielder Gianfranco Gileppo and Men's baseball catcher Patrick Jannetta have been named the Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending September 22.
Gianfranco Gileppo
The midfielder made an instant impact in his first game of the season. He scored on a free kick in the 6th minute while also posting a game-high four shots in a 2-2 tie with the Durham Lords.
Patrick Jannetta
The second-year catcher stood out over four games, hitting .500 with five hits and a team-high seven RBIs, along with his first career double and triple. Jannetta came up clutch, driving in more than two runs in three games. He was a massive reason why the Huskies won three of four games.
