The men's baseball team closed out their road trip with two tough loses to Lambton Lions on Sunday (Sept. 15) afternoon.
Game 1: Lambton 14, George Brown 0
The Huskies struggled in their first game, giving up runs in every inning. First-year pitcher Ethan Robertson took the loss, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and two walks over two innings.
Game 2: Lambton 10, George Brown 0
The trend in the first game followed into the second one. Lambton scored two or more runs in four of the first five innings.
First-year pitcher Daniel Gibbs started and was tagged with the loss, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks in just one inning of work.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (0-6) travel to Ajax, Ont., to duel the Seneca Sting (1-3) on Friday (Sept. 20). Games are scheduled at 5pm and 7:30pm at Ajax Sportsplex.
