Marcus Herback tied the game with a two-run RBI single, followed by RBIs from Chad Samaroo and Peteco Marshall, giving George Brown a 5-3 lead. Sheridan narrowed the gap to 5-4 heading into the seventh inning, then took the lead with a three-run home run, making it 7-5.
In the bottom of the seventh, Lucas Sears doubled and stole third, allowing Samaroo to drive him in, cutting the deficit to 7-6. However, with runners on second and third and two outs, Patrick Jannetta grounded out, ending the game.
Connor Gentes pitched 6.1 innings, allowing six runs on nine hits while striking out seven.
