Time to ponder the choices for Male Rookie of the Year at George Brown College – and it won't be an easy pick.
Five student athletes, three from volleyball and two from basketball, are being considered and here's a look at each of them.

JOHN CADOUGAN
Cadougan is from Toronto and was a guard on the Huskies men's basketball team. An MVPO for his high school team, Cadougan continued his success at George Brown. Starting in nine of 17 games, averaging 4.1 points a game, his skill was on the defensive side of the game. He is in the Construction Trade Techniques Program.
D'ARTANIEL JACKMAN
He plays the middle position on the Huskies men's volleyball team. From Toronto,
SHAUN LASALA
He's an outside hitter and libero for the George Brown volleyball team.
JOHN LUU
He's from Brampton, a former high school Athlete of the Year and is an outside hitter on the Huskies volleyball team that finished 13-5 in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association and eliminated in opening round of the playoffs. In the OCAA statistical chart, Luu was tops by a George Brown player and finished No. 21 in scoring. He is studying Business Administration Finance.
EMMANUEL MUKUNA
Not often a rookie starts in 11 of 15 games, Mukuna averaged 5.6 points a game for the 15-5 Huskies basketball team.
