In their first season in the OCAA, goalkeeper Yazmeen Jamieson and striker Bianca Rea impressed their peers so much that they earned OCAA honours.
Jamieson was awarded East Division First Team All-Star honours for her excellent season. She was the backbone of the team and a perfect leader on the pitch. She played the most minutes of any goalkeeper in the province while ranking second in total shutouts (4), sixth in saves (54), and 12th in goals against average (1.50). She made numerous spectacular saves to keep the Huskies in games against top teams in the country and was a big reason why the Huskies finished fifth in the East Division. This marks the second year in a row that a Huskies goalkeeper was named a First Team All-Star.
Rea was a perfect fit for the Huskies, and the rest of the league noticed, awarding her East Division Second Team All-Star honours. She finished the season with a league-high 36 shots, five goals, three assists, and two game-winning goals. Throughout the season, she was pencilled in as a striker and midfielder at times to help facilitate the offence. Her offensive abilities shone with a few spectacular goals and assists. Rea played a key role in the team, finishing fifth in the province with 27 goals.
