HUSKIES DROP DECISION TO DURHAM

The George Brown Huskies women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Durham Lords at home on Saturday (Sept. 21) afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED: In a back-and-forth contest, both teams recorded at least nine shots on goal, but Durham struck first with a goal from Sage Thomas-Roberts in the 26th minute. Despite creating several scoring opportunities, the Huskies couldn't find the back of the net. Thomas-Roberts sealed the game with another marker in the 84th minute.

Huskies goalkeeper Yazmeen Jamieson had a standout performance, making a season-high nine saves in the loss.

UP NEXT: The Huskies (1-3) return to action Friday (Sept. 27) night when they host Loyalist (1-5) at 6pm.
