The women's soccer team fought hard but dropped a 1-0 decision to the CCAA No. 3 Centennial Colts on the road Wednesday night (Oct. 9).

HOW IT HAPPENED: The entire match was a defensive affair between the two rivals, but it was the home team that struck first. Off a free kick, the ball ricocheted between players before Odessa Peyton found the back of the net.

The rest of the game was marked by strong defensive play and solid goalkeeping from both sides. The Huskies created a few good chances but couldn't convert. Yazmeen Jamieson made six saves in the loss.

UP NEXT: The Huskies (3-2-4) wrap up their season at home against the CCAA No. 1 Seneca Sting (4-1-3). Game time is 1 p.m. Before the match, the team will honor their graduating student-athletes.
