The women's soccer team fell 4-0 to the CCAA No. 1 Seneca Sting at home on Saturday (Oct. 12) afternoon, wrapping up their season.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies attempted to slow down the high-powered Sting offence, but it was too much to contain. The visitors scored in the 17th minute and just before halftime off a free kick. Seneca added two more in the second half to put the game out of reach.
Goalkeeper Yazmeen Jamieson did all she could, stopping nine shots in the loss.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (5-5) finish fifth in the East Division. In the first round of the playoffs, the team will travel to Sudbury, Ont., to battle the Cambrian Golden Shield (5-4-1) on Wednesday (Oct. 16). The action begins at 5pm.
