The George Brown Huskies (1-2) were in for a tough battle against the first place Algonquin Wolves (5-0) on Friday night (Nov 11) at Casa Loma Campus. The home squad ended up dropping the contest to the visitors by a score of 102-55.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The first quarter saw a balanced back and forth between the two teams with each shooting just over 50% from the floor, and both sides with balanced scoring, each with three players with five or more points in the frame.

In the second quarter the Wolves gradually started to pull further away however, growing their lead to 50-32 going into halftime.

In the second half Algonquin got red-hot, connecting on 67% of their attempts in the third quarter putting the game out of reach. Jordyn Dawkins (16 points), Ava Proskos (13 points) and Kiara Graham (13 points) led the way for the Huskies on 47% shooting.
